Meet A Mom: Jenifer
I’m grateful to know Jenifer who is a supportive, local Mom and small business owner! Here is her introduction to the LAM Community – Looking back to a year ago, I never would have expected that a little chance I took would grow in to such an amazing blessing for our family and a source of joy for so many! I am just a mom that took a leap of faith on a fun little business idea and now have a full heart and a full schedule as the proud owner of Card My Yard – Libertyville, which has really flourished through these uncertain times. I get to do something I love, I have the privilege of growing a small business out of my garage and am blessed with a loving family, including 3 amazing children who are so fun to watch grow and find their own paths! I constantly wish I had a few more hours in each day, but am thankful that I get my chance to “Do It All”.

She started her business 11 years ago in Chicago where she moved from Ghana, West Africa. After living in Chicago for over a decade she recently moved to Lindenhurst to expand her business to Lake County. I’m excited to introduce you to this Mom who has been living in our area for a decade and is very active in the community. Likely, you already know her, her husband and three kids since they’ve been in youth sports over the years, plus she is an instructor at Heather’s Gym which is her happy place and where she found her village. She recently joined the Executive Board for the Libertyville Boys Club and her daughter just started dancing at Talent Forum. I’m happy for you to meet Sierra is a wife, mom and Director of The Learning Experience in Gurnee. Her and her cute family love to be outside as much as possible. They love to visit Hayashi in Gurnee and the Marriott Lincolnshire. While the live in Wisconsin, she grew up in Lake County, IL and is happy to commute here for work. Sierra is so passionate and proud about to work for TLE and give back to the community with their Philanthropy program benefitting the Make-A-Wish foundation. The Learning Experience has remained open during the pandemic to essential workers children. Let me introduce you to Libertyville Area Mom, Jenn. She was born in Libertyville, grew up in Minneapolis, and returned to the area to attend Trinity College. There she met her husband Jim, a financial advisor, and Lake County has been home ever since. She’s mom to 5 kids (both biologically and through adoption) from 4-year old “twiblings” up to a 19-year old college student. Jenn blogs at MoreMommyMoments.com where she helps moms be intentional with how they use their time and energy while raising their kids by sharing strategies, solutions, and support that will help them do more of what they want to do and less of what they have to do.

Today I’m going to introduce you to this warm wife and mother of two who just celebrated their family’s year anniversary A New York native, Jessica, has moved around with her family for years and they are happy to settle down in Libertyville. This is the same community where she opened 1st Choice Chiropractic in February which fulfilled a dream of hers. She is proud to work and live in the community of Libertyville and offer chiropractic care in conjunction with therapeutic muscle work and stretching.
