Where are you from and how long have you lived in town? What brought you to the area?
I was born and raised in upstate New York. My husband’s career has moved us all across the country over the last few years with the end goal being located here in Libertyville. We have lived here since June of last year.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Ryan, for almost 12 years. We have been together for 18 years.
Yes, I have 2 children. My daughter Aryanna is 7 and my son Maxim is 3.5.
What are your favorite things to do in the area with and without your kids? Family friendly restaurant? Date night?
Our favorite thing to do as a family is biking on the North Shore bike path everyday. Our family lives in town and we absolutely love it. We enjoy walking to school, the farmers market and our favorite restaurants downtown. Some of our favorites are Mickey Finns, O’Tooles, Shakou and Pizzeria Deville. My husband and I like to visit The Tavern for date nights.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor or in the corporate world? Please share!
I opened 1st Choice Chiropractic in February 2020. Our office offers chiropractic care in conjunction with therapeutic muscle work and stretching with each patient visit. We offer additional treatment therapies such as ultrasound, stim, RockTape, instrument assisted soft tissue work and more. 1st Choice Chiropractic is a family chiropractic clinic seeing patients of all ages. We treat patients with all ailments such as whiplash, neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatic pain, TMJ, frozen shoulder and more. Not only does our office treat ailments but we also offer wellness and supportive care for children and during pregnancy.
I have been practicing chiropractic since 2010 with the bulk of my career taking place outside of Philadelphia, PA. It has been a dream of mine to open a chiropractic office and share my purpose and passion for chiropractic care with the public.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
The Libertyville community has been absolutely phenomenal. Being new to town this community has not only embraced my family and I but they have supported my business from day one of opening. I truly believe the referral of family and friends is the best compliment one can receive. From the referrals, recommendations and support on social media I have been able to grow my business faster than I ever anticipated and I am forever grateful for this opportunity.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I am very good at remembering names, faces and random things about people. People are very surprised when I see them and I ask how their trip to Disney was last month or how their grandmother Pearl is doing.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another Mom?
There will be long nights and long days, but there will come a day when you miss the nighttime snuggles and cuddling during nap time. Love every moment, they grow up so fast.
What is next for you?
I am excited to see what the future holds and how my business grows. I absolutely love being a female business owner showing my children that they really can do whatever they want in life as long as they put in the effort.
