I am thrilled to share with you my interview with Jan who is Mom to the Dr. Jordan and Dr. Jade of North Shore Pro-Active Health! She is also a Grandma to two adorable grandsons and the Sponsor of the LAM Holiday Gift Guide as the Division President of Diamond Residential Mortgage in Libertyville! Jan, Jordan and Jade are huge supporters of all things local and creating a community. She is also philanthropic and currently on the board of Twice as Nice Mother and Child DBA Keeping Families Covered. I’m happy to share with you Kristy’s story! Kristy is a wife and mother who has a strong love for cooking instilled in her by her Mom. They spent many hours together in the kitchen while Kristy was growing up in their home in Libertyville. This love of food and cooking is what inspired her to create a page loved by many in town, the Libertyville Recipe Swap. Started during the pandemic, it helped to keep Kristy and everyone connected and focused on something positive and fun! This Mom has a huge heart and I love her advice that in the storms of life remember there will eventually be the Sun. I’m so proud to introduce you to the Long Grove Mom! She has three kids, a husband who is also originally from Minnesota, and she adores her community and living life in the historic Long Grove. It suits her well seeing that she loves history herself and it’s infused in her business Home by Dani: Breathing New Life Into Old Things. Danielle curates items and shares them on her Etsy shop. She helps you incorporate these unique discoveries into your home, office or business. She describes herself as an old soul and after you read her interview you’ll feel like she is an old friend! She has a way with words and I know you’ll enjoy reading about her family, business, and how her daughter taught her whole family about showing kindness and compassion. Meet A Mom: Jen
I’m so excited to introduce you to one of my closest friends! Jen and I were co-workers almost 20 years ago right out of college at JPMorgan Chase and she’s been one of my best friends ever since. They live in Lincoln Park but come to visit us here often and enjoy going to Mickey Finn’s, Lifetime Fitness and Great Wolf Lodge. Their favorite spots in the city are Lincoln Park Zoo, Alfred Caldwell Lily Pools, Chicago Park District, Ricardo’s, Summer House and Green Tea Sushi. When I met Jen decades ago her boyfriend was moving here to live near her and start a business. They flipped one condo, had an amazing destination wedding in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica that I attended, and the rest is history! Years later and her husband Mike is a builder and real estate developer in Chicago with an event space and they recently built a luxury Villa in – you guessed it – Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica! The travel industry is expected to bounce right back so start dreaming of a family trip, corporate trip, or women’s wellness retreat at this villa with stunning ocean and jungle views including a view of the renowned National Park of Manuel Antonio!
