Real moms networking and sharing their life experiences

Please share two fun facts about yourself.

I founded my school 20 years ago. It is named after my childhood street. My former career was as a Realtor.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another Mom?

Love your children for who they are…

Are you involved in any volunteering or philanthropy? Do you have a favorite local non-profit or charity?

I volunteer for the board of directors for my sisters not for profit Montessori schools in Highland Park and Glencoe.

In an effort to keep it real, and not just show the sunny side, can you share with us a past or present struggle in your personal or professional life? Please also share how you overcame it or cope with it (or plan to)? We love gaining new tools for our mental wellness toolbox.

The covid pandemic shut down vgm school for 5 months. My amazing staff created an online Montessori program by filming ourselves doing lessons from scratch. We reopened for the entire school year of 2020-21. My teachers were there for our children and families in the toughest of times. We got through it together. I’m really proud of that…
