Meet A Mom: Sierra
I’m happy for you to meet Sierra is a wife, mom and Director of The Learning Experience in Gurnee. Her and her cute family love to be outside as much as possible. They love to visit Hayashi in Gurnee and the Marriott Lincolnshire. While the live in Wisconsin, she grew up in Lake County, IL and is happy to commute here for work. Sierra is so passionate and proud about to work for TLE and give back to the community with their Philanthropy program benefitting the Make-A-Wish foundation. The Learning Experience has remained open during the pandemic to essential workers children. Let me introduce you to Libertyville Area Mom, Jenn. She was born in Libertyville, grew up in Minneapolis, and returned to the area to attend Trinity College. There she met her husband Jim, a financial advisor, and Lake County has been home ever since. She’s mom to 5 kids (both biologically and through adoption) from 4-year old “twiblings” up to a 19-year old college student. Jenn blogs at MoreMommyMoments.com where she helps moms be intentional with how they use their time and energy while raising their kids by sharing strategies, solutions, and support that will help them do more of what they want to do and less of what they have to do.

Today I’m going to introduce you to this warm wife and mother of two who just celebrated their family’s year anniversary A New York native, Jessica, has moved around with her family for years and they are happy to settle down in Libertyville. This is the same community where she opened 1st Choice Chiropractic in February which fulfilled a dream of hers. She is proud to work and live in the community of Libertyville and offer chiropractic care in conjunction with therapeutic muscle work and stretching. Meet A Mom: Nikki
Nikki is a warm, vibrant local wife and mother currently living in Fox Lake! She is an entrepreneur with a new business, Nanny Nikki Music. Nikki is living her dream combining her love for children and music. She is a storyteller who sings and plays the ukulele – and I can attest that she can get all children of any age engaged and having a blast. We loved her socially distanced concert and had kids ages 1.5 – 10 years old dancing and singing. She has pivoted her new business to adapt to the current times provided these socially distant shows as well as virtual ones. Meet A Mom: Liz
I can’t wait for you to meet, Liz! She is one driven and philanthropic Mom of two who recently started a new chapter in her career. Liz has lived in Gurnee and Vernon Hills for the past 30 years, but prior to that she was an immigrant who was born and raised in Romania. She was a political refugee in Budapest, Hungary before her journey to Chicago. Liz opened Legacy Wealth two years ago. Read our interview to find out about her vision for Financial Planning with a Heart so no family is left behind. Speaking of Heart – Liz sure has a big one. She spends much of her time volunteering for A Safe Place, PADS, and the Roberti Center. Another group in Waukegan that she supports is LEA Girls: Leadership Empowerment Action for Girls. You’ll love Liz goal to spread love, kindness, positivity and gratitude.

I’m so happy to introduce you to Jill! She has been living in the North Shore for eight years with her husband and two kids when they moved from Canada. Jill is an instructor at The Dailey Method and you can find her at both of the studios in Vernon Hills and Lake Forest. I enjoy taking Jill’s classes and love her passion for fitness, wellness and creating community. She is happy to have discovered Vernon Hills and Libertyville once Rebecca opened the second studio in Mellody Farm. Kim is an instructor at Heather’s Gym and this community lifted her up when she needed it most.
