The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has published updated recommendations on water safety.
At Goldfish Swim School, we are thrilled with the new recommendations because we are also committed to education on water safety. We commend AAP for making these very important changes. We appreciate the emphasis put on the importance of not only beginning swim lessons at a young age but also doing them in a structured environment with a well trained staff.
Drowning is the number one cause of injury-related death among children ages 1 to 4, we must all work together to provide education, resources, and lessons for prevention.
At Goldfish Swim School our number one focus and main priority will remain the same – educating children on water safety while teaching them how to swim and respect the water.
With summer coming up, now is great time to get the kids into lessons to make sure they know how to be safe in and around the water. We have an amazing opportunity during Spring Break, for kids to get one months of progress in just one week. Our Spring Break Jumpstart Clinic is March 25th – March 29th between 9am and 12pm. Children are able to come 5 consecutive days to master those important and potentially lifesaving skills.
We pride ourselves on our compassion and trust with our students. The goal is for them to trust us and know that the skills they are learning here at Goldfish Swim School will be skills that they will carry with them for a lifetime.
