We are excited to introduce Diana Matichyn, a realtor with Coldwell Banker.
Where are you from and where do you currently live? What brought you to the area?
I’m from Ukraine and enjoy living in the NW suburbs.

Do you have children?
I’m grateful to be a mom of boy and girl twins.
What are your favorite things to do in the area with and without your kids? Family friendly restaurant? Date night?
Love going out for dinner to Main Street Social, Milwalky Trace or Shakou.
In addition to the restaurants you mentioned, can you share your favorite local businesses?
Love LE LAURELLI and Marigold. Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters is my go to! Hewn Bakery is amazing!
Which books inspire you the most?
The Bible.
Tell us about your business/organization.
I’m a Realtor with Coldwell Banker and grateful to have helped over 700 clients in my career all over Northwest and Northshore suburbs. I lead a small team and we take care of our clients like family!! Clients that work with us feel supported and communication is a big I thing we are known for, among other things- like social media presence that helps my clients get much more exposure for their homes.

What else would you like us to know about your business?
We have over 250 five star reviews on Zillow and Google and would love to help you with the move.
What is your favorite thing about the Libertyville Area Moms Network?
Their recommendations! Would love to start monthly networking meetings as well!
What are one or two fun facts about yourself?
I’ll share 2 things: first, I’m a twin mom — and twins don’t run in our family, so it was a total surprise and the best kind. Second, as a realtor, I walk through hundreds of homes every year, which means I’m constantly coming home with new ideas for ours (never ending projects!!). My husband has learned to expect this. He also has veto rights haha.

Are you involved in any volunteering or philanthropy? Do you have a favorite local non-profit or charity?
Absolutely!! I love supporting Journeys the Road Home in Palatine. It’s such a great organization that supports vulnerable members of our community. Providing them daily necessities and shelter in the winter.
Can you share with us a past or present struggle in your personal or professional life? Please also share how you overcame it.
I started real estate really young, when I was in my 20s, and the biggest struggle was to convince my clients that I was qualified for the job to help them with home purchase or home sale. The market back in 2013 was not the way it is right now and homes took months to sell. So I have built my business based on being proactive and going above and beyond of what’s traditionally done to make sure I get the best result for my clients.
