My first “Meet a Mom” interview was in 2019 and so much has changed since then. We got our first puppy, Indigo, in January 2020 and our family adores him! We were enjoying our new puppy, doing life as usual and then in March everything changed. My thriving Travel business took a nosedive as most travel came to a standstill with the Covid19 outbreak. My daughter had to spend the rest of 8th grade at home in remote learning, and I found myself as a stay at home mom again. She’s a Freshman now and this is not how most teenagers want to start their Freshman year. My husband’s job is considered essential and he had to go into work and set up Covid19 precautions and protocol in his office.
Just as so many others we had to re-group and make changes to adjust to this new “normal”. As I helped my clients cancel their vacations, I decided to change my travel business focus back to where I started, concentrating on Disney and Universal parks vacations. There have been so MANY changes so these parks could re-open and things are still changing weekly, sometimes daily, so you really need to do your homework when planning these trips. Even with all of the changes, my LOVE for these parks hasn’t changed and we will continue to go and make new memories as I hope you all do too. The Boathouse at Disney Springs is one of my family’s favorites, we will have to order one of these on our next trip!
