Winthrop Harbor’s annual Summer Fair Festival is back!! This year’s fest will take place from Thursday June 9th – Sunday June 12th. A carnival will be located at Village Park, 2700 9th St, all four days, provided by A & A Attractions. All your favorite midway rides will be on hand, as well as various food booths, carnival games, and blow up slides as well. There will be unlimited ride specials sold for $25 per person on Thursday night from 6pm – 10pm, $30 per person on Friday night from 5pm-11pm, $25 rides Saturday and Sunday from 1pm – 5pm, and also a $30 band on Saturday night from 5pm-11pm. On Saturday afternoon, all kids who buy a ride special wristband, will be entered in a raffle, and can win a brand new bike!!
The WH Recreation Board will be hosting many other activities and booths along with the carnival rides and games. All of the details are being finalized for live music and fireworks, so be on the lookout for more information as it is confirmed.
Carnival Hours will be: Thursday, 5pm – 10pm, Friday, 4pm – 12am, Saturday, 12pm – 12am, Sunday, 12pm – 7pm.
