Virtual Program: Art Explorers Jr., Family Program – Picasso and Matisse (Grades 1-2)
08/18/2020 @ 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm
Learn about master artists Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse through Nina Laden’s “When Pigasso Met Mootisse.” Once you compare their bold, colorful works of art, try their styles out for yourself.
Learn about the artists, view some of their famous works, and learn how they made them. Children who would like to try making art like Picasso and Matisse should gather some of the following supplies before the program – no need to purchase any, just use whatever you have at home:
Colored or white unlined paper, crayons, markers, paints, colored pencils or pens, scissors (don’t worry if you don’t have them – you will be able to tear the paper) glue, tape.
