Hawthorn Woods Fireworks

Relax and watch as we light up the sky honoring our country and celebrating our freedom. Since 1776, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence. Hawthorn Woods is proud to gather our community for a fireworks display to honor the occasion.
Fireworks will be launched from Community Park at approximately 9:15 p.m. Community Park will be open to guests starting at 3:00 p.m.; parking will be limited.
Parking
Premium Parking
Back by popular demand, premium paid parking will be available for Hawthorn Woods residents at Community Park, located at the corner of Old McHenry and Quentin Roads. Registration is required for premium parking. The fee is $25 per vehicle. Registration is on-going until filled.
Parking is limited. The parking lot will open at 3:00 p.m. on July 3, 2022. We suggest all vehicles be parked by 8:00 p.m. Vehicles that exit the parking lot will not be allowed to re-enter. Registrations are non-refundable, but are transferrable. Registration is available online only (processing fee required).
Free Parking
Free parking will be available at St. Matthew Church (24500 N. Old McHenry Road). Parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please follow the direction of parking personnel.
